some things linger.
the hold of her hand, the smell of her hair.
the swell of her breasts, under that dress.
the time down by the trout stream by the ceder grove
and the foxes lost in play in the autumnal falls.
…..all came tumbling down, tumbling down, tumbling down.
the mecha lurches forward
she’s a little cranky in the morning dust.
… witness it
it doesn’t move like the rest of them
seemingly a coming together of flesh and metal
the arcs of the grand blazing sword, the projectile artistry
and the noise it makes, the noise
….. if steel itself was capable of roars

more mecha stuff. and i guess it’s another version of an earlier poem. so yeah. and i’ve been listening to komm, susser tod. which shows in one line at least. and some richard brautigan here as well.

its interesting in relation to the opening stanza…the cognizance of a previous life…of the memories…of intimacy…and then in a mech body…i bet it would react a bit differently…and maybe even lead to a roar or two….

I learned something new today.. had not spent time on anime really.. the opening stanza made me quite unprepared for the mechanics and the crunching of steel…
